In 1997, Dolly the sheep
attracted the attention of the world. Now, 14 years later, cloning
methods have undergone a new revolution. Researches of a New York
laboratory have discovered that if human skin cells are transferred
into a human egg, it forms an early embryo. These stem cells can be
transformed into any type of cell for the body... It is like a
“repair kit” for the body ; People injured in an accident could
have their damaged body parts replaced !
Cloning is a science that
is still in its infancy. People remain weary of this type of
medicine, but experiments show encouraging results.
I think this technique will be problematic with laws that already perturb biologic researches on plants if you want to use it commonly in medicine.
